Elipeka's Kin is an adoptable on PonyIsland.net, focusing on cetaceans - that is whales, dolphins and porpoises - with a semi-realistic style. Each set of lines in this adoptable is based on a real cetacean species, from Orcas to Narwhals, from Blue Whales to Botos, and will mimic their base species as closely as possible in terms of both appearance and behaviour, and making use of correct taxonomy where possible. The main difference, of course, as that Elipeka's Kin are definitely sentient and self-aware.
This adoptable has a heavy emphasis on creative writing and roleplaying, and each species has its own culture and way of life. Humans, although they exist in this version of Earth, will not be featuring highly in the Kin's storyline, if at all. Additionally, while writing and roleplaying are heavily encouraged, they're not essential in order to participate, as there will be plenty of games, free events and sales as well.
